Michael Miller

Michael Miller was appointed Suncorp’s Chief Executive Consumer Insurance in August 2026, after holding his role as Chief Executive Commercial & Personal Injury Insurance for three years. Michael is responsible for the end-to-end management of Suncorp’s Home and Motor portfolios.

Michael joined Suncorp in 2011 and has held other senior positions including Executive General Manager (EGM) Commercial & Intermediated Insurance, EGM for Personal Injury Claims, EGM for Motor, Property & Specialty Claims as well as CFO for Insurance.

Before joining Suncorp, Michael spent nine years at Perpetual, in various executive roles covering finance and strategy, including Group Executive for Superannuation & Investment Solutions. Michael also spent nine years at Deloitte in senior audit roles in Brisbane, London and Sydney.

Michael is a chartered accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.
