Brighter Futures

In 2018, Suncorp relaunched its employee giving program, Brighter Futures. The new program makes it easier for our people to make a difference and have input on how Suncorp supports the community.

I really like that Brighter Futures is an employee-led program and that Suncorp is supporting its employees to do what we think is valuable. It's really great to think I'm working with people that value the same sorts of things I do and we can all use our skills to help develop happy, thriving communities.

Raise Money

Brighter Futures makes it easy for you to raise money for one of our local charity partners, your favourite charity or community group, or an individual in need. Suncorp also matches your efforts, dollar-for-dollar, up to an annual cap, helping you to make an even bigger difference.”

Matched Giving

Suncorp has committed $1 million annually to match our employees’ donations, fundraising, crowdfunding and volunteering efforts. Employees are entitled to $1,000 in matching, each financial year. The more you give and the more you do, the more Suncorp will support you.”

Charity Partners

Sixteen local charity partnerships have been established across Australia and New Zealand, addressing some of the issues our employees care about most including mental health, domestic violence and cancer. Guided by more than 1,000 employee survey responses, the charity partners were selected by employee committees representing our people across each of our regions.

Volunteer

What better way to support your favourite cause than by volunteering your time to help. Suncorp Group offers one paid volunteer day per year so that you can get out there, lend a hand, and make a difference to your community.

Brighter Futures makes it easy for you to use your volunteer leave to support one of our local charity partners or your favourite charity.

In addition to your paid volunteer day, if you volunteer in your personal time, Suncorp matches your efforts, hour-for-dollar, up to an annual cap, helping you to make an even bigger difference.

Give Through Your Pay

Suncorp makes it easy for you to donate to one of our local charity partners or your favourite charity using Payroll Giving. Suncorp also matches your donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to an annual cap, helping you to make an even bigger difference. 

Payroll Giving is a simple and convenient way for you to make a one-off or regular donation. It’s also one of the most tax-efficient ways. Your donation will be deducted directly from your fortnightly pay, before tax. You can also rest assured that 100% of your donation reaches the charity. 

Suncorp has partnered with Good2Give to facilitate Payroll Giving. The Good2Give platform is easy to use and ensures your donation is secure and matched automatically, each fortnight.
