How Suncorp is empowering its people through flexible learning

As part of Suncorp’s ongoing commitment to our people’s personal and professional development, our digital learning hub offers a comprehensive suite of online learning content, that can be accessed 24/7.

Combining global learning platforms Cognita and Skillsoft, our custom-created hub delivers a diverse range of topics, available to all; from globally recognised certifications and specialist career path support, to leading wellness and personal development resources that encourage self-development and preparedness for the future.

Charmain Fry, Suncorp Group's Head of Learning, recently announced the rollout of the digital learning hub, expressing her pride in the company's ability to adopt a progressive way of learning for all Suncorp people. 

'One of the things I’m most proud about is the release of both Skillsoft and Cognita to everyone in the Suncorp family. Digitisation has dramatically changed the world of learning, and what used to only be delivered in the classroom, we can now provide on your mobile phone, on an iPad, desktop; it’s a completely different way of learning" Ms Fry said.

Comprising over 4,000 microlearning courses, 70 certifications, over 19,400 ebooks, and 1,200 audiobooks, individuals can fully personalise their topic preferences and learning experiences, encouraging a hands-on approach to self-development and professional fulfilment.

Complementing our culture of flexible working, Suncorp’s digital learning portal can be accessed anytime, anywhere; empowering individuals to learn in a way that suits them. "I like to think of continuous learning as the constant expansion of your skills, knowledge and capability" continued Ms Fry, "either for your current role, or for future role that you might like to take. There are a host of ways you can learn, that doesn’t happen in the classroom - and it can happen anywhere, anytime, anyplace."
