“Suncorp’s Customer Support Teams have been on the ground since the flooding hit in early February and this dedicated claim support centre will ensure customers can continue to access the same personalised support as the recovery continues.”
Suncorp’s Head of Claims Michael Miller said our priority remains first and foremost, to get customers back on their feet and keep the assessment and repair process moving.
“The assessment process is well underway and we will maintain a strong assessor and builder presence in the region for as long as it takes:
- 60 per cent home claims assessments completed
- 95 per cent motor vehicles assessed and 80 per cent of those claims have been finalised
- $38.8M paid for building and contents claims
- local trades and suppliers being utilised
