Suncorp makes its mark in South Australia

Suncorp is redefining the financial service experience in South Australia, opening a new-look store in the heart of Adelaide at the Grenfell Centre, 25 Grenfell Street.

The new tri-branded store brings together products and solutions from across the Group’s network of brands, AAMI, Suncorp, and Apia, as well as experiences to help customers with life’s financial decisions, such a purchasing a home or planning for retirement.

Suncorp CEO Customer Marketplace, Pip Marlow, said the store leverages insights gained from our national store network to create a store specific to the needs of our Adelaide customers.

“As our customers’ needs evolve, we need to change how we serve and support them – this store is just one example of how we’re doing that,” Ms Marlow said.

“A tri-branded store is a first of its kind for Suncorp. We have brought together the brands and products we know are the best fit for our local customers and designed a space which allows them to engage with us how, and when they want to.

We’ve used technology to make transactions faster and more efficient while centralising our team of local banking and insurance specialists to offer personalised support to assist customers with more complex needs.

The opening comes just months after Suncorp unlocked the doors of its new corporate office at 1 King William Street - a 4,622sqm space which enabled Suncorp to create a modern, flexible working environment for its local employees.

“Adelaide is an important market for Suncorp, and we’re not only committed to investing in the region through jobs and infrastructure but building more resilient communities,” Ms Marlow said.

“We’re advocates of road safety with AAMI proud to be one of the Government approved compulsory third party (CTP) providers, as well as long-time supporters of the Fatality Free Friday campaign which is coming up next month.

“With changes to the CTP scheme due to come into effect from 1 July, the opening of the store means we can provide additional support for motorists.”

Ms Marlow said the store will also host workshops and seminars tailored to the financial needs of the local community.

“These sessions have proved really successful across the country as they provide tangible support for customers facing financial milestones and challenges.”
