Assistance will be tailored to individual customer needs and may include options like deferral of scheduled loan repayments, moving to interest-only repayments and waiver of fees for early withdrawal of term deposits.

Suncorp Bank CEO Clive van Horen says it's important customers contact Suncorp as soon as possible to discuss their requirements and any additional support they need for duration of the lockdown.

“Suncorp Bank has a proud history of stepping up for our customers when they need us the most and it’s important they know, during the ongoing challenges the COVID-19 pandemic continues to produce, we are here for them,” said Mr van Horen.

“I would encourage all Queensland customers impacted by this latest lockdown to get in touch with us immediately to discuss the options available to them. We are here to help.”

Suncorp Group also recently released measures supporting home, car insurance and business customers affected by COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions.

Impacted customers can contact Suncorp on 13 11 55 or get in touch with their relationship manager.
